Serving Guatemalan and international students for over 35 years, LIFE School is an English-immersion academy on the shores of Lake Atitlán. Half of its 150+ students come from indigenous Mayan backgrounds.

A community-run cooperative offering immersive Spanish courses— one-on-one, pair, or group—plus cultural workshops and homestays. All our trilingual Spanish, English, and Mayan teachers are Ministry- and INGUAT-certified, providing authentic language practice in a lakeside garden setting.
San Juan Comalapa, Guatemala
Integrates UNESCO’s Education for Sustainable Development with hands-on STEM methodology and green-building projects. Students, teachers, and volunteers collaborate on community infrastructure including water tanks, cob ovens, and off-grid homes to address economic, social, and environmental challenges.
